Our Story

A Sanctuary of Taste & Tradition.

"At Lumière, every plate is a quiet conversation between fire, season, and memory."

Born from a singular vision, Lumière Dining has spent over a decade redefining the art of fine dining on the West Coast. Our philosophy is rooted in restraint — sourcing the finest produce from coastal farms, cellaring the rarest vintages, and presenting each course with deliberate, sculptural grace.

The dining room — sheathed in warm walnut, brushed brass, and candlelight — is designed as an intimate stage. Here, service is choreographed, sommeliers are storytellers, and time slows by design.

Meet The Chef

Antoine Laurent

Executive Chef & Founder

Trained under three-Michelin-star kitchens in Lyon, Tokyo, and Copenhagen, Chef Antoine Laurent has spent twenty-three years cultivating a singular voice in modern European cuisine. His philosophy — restraint over ornament, terroir over trend — is the unwavering compass of Lumière Dining.

He sources directly from a network of fourteen heritage farms, hand-selecting produce each Tuesday morning before service. His kitchen is open, quiet, and disciplined — a workshop where craft is the only currency.

★★★★★

"From the moment we crossed the threshold, time slowed. The Wagyu was sculptural, the sommelier prophetic. Lumière is not a meal — it is a study in poise."

"Chef Laurent's omakase was the most considered dining experience of my year. Every plate arrived with purpose, every pour with story. We will absolutely return."

"I have dined in Paris, Tokyo, and New York. Lumière belongs in that conversation. The truffle ribeye, the dim brass light, the impeccable silence of service — exquisite."

"We celebrated our tenth anniversary here. The team turned a private salon into something cinematic. The soufflé, served at the perfect moment, will live in our memory."

Ask Concierge
Is there a dress code at Lumière?
Smart elegant attire is requested in the main dining room. Tailored jackets are preferred for gentlemen in the evening. The Garden Terrace allows refined casual wear.
How far in advance should I reserve?
We recommend booking 3–4 weeks in advance for weekend evenings. Weekday reservations and chef's counter seats can often be secured within a week.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Absolutely. Our kitchen prepares thoughtful adaptations for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-sensitive guests. Please notify us 48 hours prior so our chef may compose accordingly.
Is private dining available?
Yes. Three private salons accommodate parties from 8 to 40 guests, each with bespoke menus, dedicated service, and optional sommelier pairings. Please contact our events team.
Do you offer wine pairings with the tasting menu?
Our Head Sommelier curates a nine-pour pairing alongside our omakase tasting, drawing from our 1,200-label cellar. Non-alcoholic pairings are also available.
